- Dried Lion’s Mane mushroom
- Water
- Honey, lemon, or ginger (Optional)

How to Make Lion’s Mane Tea
Prepare the Mushrooms
If using whole dried Lion’s Mane mushrooms, break them into smaller pieces. This increases the surface area and creates a stronger cup of tea. Or, grind into a fine powder and use a tea strainer.
Boiling the Water
Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. The amount of water used will determine the quantity of tea made. A good guideline is one cup of water for every teaspoon of dried lion’s mane.
Add Mushrooms to Boiling Water
Once the water is boiling, add the mushroom. If you’re using powdered mushroom, place inside a tea infuser and immerse it in the hot water. Simmer for for 10-15 minutes for a stronger flavor; for a milder taste, 5-7 minutes should work.
Strain and Serve
Strain the tea into a cup and add a bit of honey, ginger and/or fresh lemon juice, if you prefer. Enjoy!
